Our challenge

Handicare offer stairlifts and other solutions to support physically challenged and elderly people in living more independent lives. As one of the leading suppliers of stairlifts, the Netherlands is a key market for Handicare, but this region was lagging behind others both in brand awareness and sales.

Our creative thinking

We carried out in-depth competitor and market audits to unearth insights that inspired the creative concept; life doesn’t stop. Our stairs witness key moments in life from the naughty step to new boyfriends coming home, and these moments don’t stop just because the stairs get harder to climb, so Handicare’s key brand message is that they help people live the lives they want, for longer.

The TV ad first launched in the Netherlands and has delivered an uplift in sales across this region. The concept was then adapted to push across social and VOD in the UK.
