We’re an eclectic bunch at OTB. Among us are digital wizards, daring designers, attentive account handlers, wordsmiths and visionary leaders. Our collective power is certainly greater than its sum of parts… think of us an extension of your own family. We like sitting in a room with our clients and getting to the crux of the challenge together and we want to be the kind of agency that clients want to spend time with. Our culture matters to us. There really aren’t any heirs and graces. No ivory towers either. We’re a genuine team that supports one another. Everyone here has something to contribute – that’s why they’re here. We have a quirky take on keeping it real. In fact, we’re pretty much what you see is what you get – and what you’ll see is a team of honest, impassioned people who believe in what they are doing and who understand the difference it makes when you care enough to get it right.

Mark Davies: Chairman

Mark Davies has 25 years experience in marketing, working for some of the largest advertising agencies in the world including Saatchi & Saatchi and Ogilvy and Mather, one of the best known creative agencies in the UK, and they quickly established a reputation for marketing excellence with clients like Thomas Cook, Boots, Dulux, Royal Mail, Hitachi and Visa.

Joanne Waddington: Managing Partner

Jo is testament to the emphasis we place on building lifelong careers for those who want them. In her time, Jo has worked with brands such as Benenden Health, npower, Methodist Homes for the Aged (MHA) and Visa. Jo has the remit to make sure that all clients are delighted with the service they receive – from insight to brief through to production. She also works closely with the planning and creative teams to ensure that the best communications strategies and creative solutions are developed.

Julian Gratton: Managing Partner

Julian is regarded as a highly experienced strategist with over 20 years’-experience who understands the psychology and power of stakeholder communications and key messaging. He works extensively with our planning and creative teams (as well as running a series of highly regarded messaging workshops) to help people understand the triggers within the limbic brain that make people change their behaviour and ensure that the effectiveness of any advertising or marketing messages are increased.

Dave Easton: Creative Director

Dave is the driving force behind the agency’s creative output. No piece of creative is sent to a client without passing Dave’s desk first. He continually pushes the boundaries of what our studio team is capable of and is relentless in his pursuit for the next ‘big idea’ that will transform the prospects of our clients, across all media. In his 20 years in the industry, Dave has produced thoughtful and intelligent work for clients such as the NHS, Mastercard and West Yorkshire Fire Service, so he knows what’s needed to turn a concept into an award-winning, engaging campaign.

Sarah Shuck: Group Account Director

Sarah is responsible for the management of key client relationships within the agency, ensuring all accounts run smoothly and all work is delivered in accordance to time and budget constraints. Having worked in the industry for over 10 years, on both client and agency side, she’s confident juggling multiple clients and projects at any given time, always delivering work that exceeds client expectations. Sarah is efficient, commercially minded and offers our clients operating in sectors from healthcare to retail invaluable strategic insight that sets them apart from their competitors.
