About you

It almost goes without saying, you have an insatiable desire to craft the twenty-six letters of the alphabet into copy that can persuade, captivate and entertain. Words to wonder and ponder. Sentences which subvert and make the reader smile and want to share. You’re also pretty good at generating ideas too, ideas that capture emotions and compel people to act.

Plus, you can:

  • Write long and short creative and effective trail blazing copy.
  • Be comfortable writing technical brochures and presentations as well as a persuasive advert or DM pack
  • Be somebody who has an ambition to be a head of copy and enable us to build a team around you
  • Develop creative work in line with client strategy across a number of clients.
  • Incessantly deliver original/inventive concepts and new vocabularies for your clients.
  • Are able to clearly and articulately explain an idea to clients.
  • Spotted the four intentional spelling mistakes in this listing
  • Ensure the tone of your copy captures an appropriate voice for the brand you are working on, taking into account the clients’ brief and guidelines.
  • Be aware of competitor creative work and market/ technology developments
    in relation to the accounts you work on.
  • Ideally you’ll have three to four years-experience

We are expanding as a business after some new client wins and substantial growth of some of our existing clients. There is the opportunity with this role to grow alongside the business and be ‘Head of Copy’, looking after and overseeing other members of the creative team in the long run.

About you

It almost goes without saying, you live and breathe great design, but equally you’re a realist, you understand when to get a design job out of the door for that urgent presentation or brochure and can also craft that brand identity or lead the charge when it comes to designing a new website. You also have a keen interest in ideas too and love being part of a pitch team and hopefully you have a keen interest in all things motion, from storyboards to perhaps being able to do rough editing.

Plus, you can:

  • Create high quality design output and independently handle projects from start to finish.
  • Be self-motivated and flexible to take on any design task, no matter how big or small.
  • Carry out work in a positive and professional manner.
  • Ensure all work is to the highest quality, taking minimal guidance from senior members of the team.
  • Using initiative to problem solve and constantly pursuing ways to better own work.
  • Mentor designers under you and show a keen interest in building a team under you and being the champion for great design together with our Creative Director
  • Supporting senior members of the team with pitches and key projects
  • Not be afraid of leading from the front which may involve beyond normal working hours working

About you

It almost goes without saying, you live and breathe film and animation. You are a rare beast in that you’re able to confidently edit using Adobe Premiere and also are a dab hand in AfterEffects. You also don’t shy away from pulling storyboards together and perhaps you’re a dab hand with a camera too… ultimately you’re someone we can build a team around and can liaise with external suppliers if required.

Plus, you’ll possess:

  • 3+ years-experience you’ll have a showreel of work showcasing your motion graphic and editing expertise.
  • Be a skilled and enthusiastic motion designer who also has a real understanding of design and can work in a collaborative environment.
  • Deliver on multiple projects concurrently
  • Be able to create slick and highly engaging content for use across multiple platforms
  • Someone who really knows how to deliver the wow factor with a get sh*t done attitude.
  • A natural-born creative who thrives on delivering the goods, you will love to keep busy and have the ability to spot the golden moments of opportunities to create films or animations
  • Brainstorming and storyboarding new video concepts

You deliver a high level of client service and pride yourself in delivering quality and well-thought through output at all times. You’ll also be financially astute, maintain agency standards and ensure that best practice processes are followed

Responsibilities

  1. Manages quote process, sets up new jobs, creates timing plans/ invoice schedules and raises POs and invoices in a timely fashion
  1. Maintains regular client contact and leads update calls and meetings, producing contact reports to capture any actions
  1. Regularly updates internal documents such as work-in-progress, status reports and figures so they are accurate
  1. Ensures agency ways of working are learnt and met and that all work is done with diligence and due care and attention, seeking support where needed
  1. Identifies new opportunities with clients and flags these with the team so these can be acted upon as well as any issues that need escalating
  1. Supports the delivery of agency marketing/client mailers and ‘client love’ and the overall agency vision and strategy
  1. Assists in answering the phone, the door and taking messages
  1. Ensures job system is maintained including the logging of timesheets
  1. Carry out desk research and inputs into CDPs, client documents, proposal and pitches as required
