As one of the largest energy suppliers in the UK, National Grid position themselves as leaders in innovation. And it’s a good job too, because this project centred around innovation.
‘Zero2050 South Wales’ is a partnership between organisations, communities and government, who will be working together, to achieve the climate change net-zero target by 2050 for South Wales. This is a pilot scheme and, if it’s successful, will be rolled out across other regions in the UK for implementation.
National Grid asked OTB to create an informative focal point for the campaign, raise awareness among key stakeholders, as well as encourage community engagement in South Wales.
With the brief digested and challenge distilled, we devised a set of robust brand guidelines and a new website to demonstrate the project’s national ambition and potential. We then set about supplying National Grid with further ideas for other communication touchpoints and a strong visual identity, so the project’s message could reach as big an audience as possible.
Working on this project was a real privilege. Global warming is a crisis facing us all and we are proud to do our bit to help a positive change.
