Our foodie story started way back in 1995 when one of our long-standing client contacts moved to Richmond Foods.

We worked closely with their marketing team, immersing ourselves in the wider marketplace and gaining a wealth of experience that resulted in increased sales and profits. We delivered strategic advice, trade communications, consumer advertising, websites, internal and financial communications.We promoted key Nestlé product ranges, implemented innovation strategies and helped introduce the category-busting Skinny Cow’ brand to the UK market from the USA. Since then, we’ve sunk our teeth into Dr Oetker, the UK’s leading thin and crispy pizza brand, developed creative advertising strategy for Onken brand yogurts and worked closely with the Paula chilled desserts team. 

We’ve been involved with product innovation for Quality Street, new product development in ice cream toppings for Cadbury Schweppes and we’ve even helped launch new world wine brand Andrew Peace in the UK.Additionally, we’ve created a whole new brand identity for a world leading food brand, launched across Western Europe. It’s been a really balanced diet of mouth-watering challenges and we’ve thrived on it. But we’re hungry for more. A new online presence for The English Provender Company

Bringing The English Provender Co. website to life for consumers was a major project that meant close collaboration between the OTB team and theirs. Working in this way guaranteed the right balance of information, inspiration and sales was achieved in the most straightforward and efficient manner.To create the best online experience for visitors to the site we integrated delicious recipes, ‘10 ways with’ suggestions, competitions, a where to buy section, an online shop, a blog and social media links. To give the site the right ‘foodie feel’ we generated a new suite of still life imagery for all hero pages that integrated the finest ingredients in a contemporary way.

Bringing Skinny Cow to the UK from the USA

Skinny Cow was a real success story in the USA. Working in partnership with Richmond Foods, OTB were a key ingredient in the launch of the brand and its subsequent category busting success across the UK. Our role included strategy, planning, creative and implementation for both trade and consumer campaigns. By its second year, Skinny Cow sales had exceeded all expectations and it was stocked in every major supermarket.

Creating a big splash for Andrew Peace wines

Andrew Peace’s distinctive range of Australian wines were well known in their domestic marketplace and also had a strong reputation for character and quality in The Far East and North America. Our brief was to create an online presence that really elevated their perception in the UK market with consumer and trade audiences.Our website truly reflected the Andrew Peace personality. A place where enthusiasts and newcomers could interact, give feedback and be part of the community. They could also meet the AP people, discover the secrets of each range and where it’s stocked and discover vineyard happenings. The site was an intoxicating success. We drove traffic using on-bottle promotion, banner advertising on highly targeted food-orientated sites, press advertising and PR activity.

A long and healthy relationship with Dr. Oetker

For over 5 years, OTB have worked closely with Dr. Oetker’s UK marketing team. Our brief has been to promote key brands, including Onken and Pizza Ristorante to the trade audience.
We raised awareness and generated healthy sales with advertising in sector leading publications including The Grocer. We also generated trade sales collateral, trade show exhibition graphics, incentives, 3D personalised product packs for buyers, money off coupons and internal communications proposals. With the Paula brand we were pivotal in the product’s UK launch and we were included in almost every aspect of its promotion to consumers and to the trade.
